I need help finding a updo for an evening out with my husband. I have hair that is way past my shoulders and right now it is auburn. I need an updo that is fast and easy and maybe even a little sexy. can someone help me?
Step 1.) Apply a heavy-weight styling product such as pomade or a mouse. Redken Water Wax, Water Based Pomade, works well with this type of styling. It allows you to get a fresh, textured look without leaving your hair stiff. Blow dry hair upside down. For more volume, hold head upside down and spritz hair with hairspray.
Step 2.) Pull hair to the top of your crown as if you were going to put a ponytail in. Pull hair half way though the elastic and then wrap elastic around that section of hair. Almost to the effect of a bun but with hair hanging out.
Step 3.) Take small, thin strands of hair and pull out, creating different lengths all around. You can curl these strand or leave them straight.
Step4.) Use a waxing product to separate the pieces of hair. Spray with hair spray.

I’ve got a roundish face with fine hair (which I’m trying to get thicker) about the length of my chin. Its kinda wavy, so I’m sure if I grew it out it it would be curly. I got myn a few weeks ago and saw absolutely no difference at all in my hair. I have frizzy wavy hair with a lot of fly aways, its pretty much stayed that way. I was real happy to convince my parents to get it for me but it doesn’t work in my opion.
