Natural Skin & Hair Care : How to Prevent Dandruff with Tomato Therapy
Yeah, it sounds strange, I’ll just get to the point. Well, my father has long hair, and it looks amazing, and I’ve always had long hair, and when I was a child, it was very smooth, but over the years its gotten damaged, now, my dad says everyday after he uses shampoo, he rinses his hair, and adds a bit of white vinegar and massages it throughout the hair, he then rinses that. He says his hair becomes the softest int he world.
I’m going to try it, but I’m not sure it’ll ruin the hair, or what. I once took advice from someone (not my dad) to put baby oil on my hair, and it stayed oily for over a month..
thanks
Your hair and scalp naturally have an “acid mantle” which is destroyed by shampooing. Vinegar just restores this acidity. The thing is many men have better hair than women as they are kinder to it! No straighteners, hairspray, tongs etc. Try it but you may get better results with a good conditioner whic is also acidic and anti static!
Hair Care & Styling Tips : Does Vinegar Help Dandruff?
Hair care is an overall term for parts of hygiene and cosmetology involving the hair on the human head. Hair care will differ according to one’s hair type and according to various processes that can be applied to hair. All hair is not the same; indeed, hair is a manifestation of human diversity.
Care of the hair and care of the scalp skin may appear separate, but are actually intertwined because hair grows from beneath the skin. The living parts of hair (hair follicle, hair root, root sheath, and sebaceous gland) are beneath the skin, while the actual hair shaft which emerges (the cuticle which covers the cortex and medulla) has no living processes. Damage or changes made to the visible hair shaft cannot be repaired by a biological process, though much can be done to manage hair and ensure that the cuticle remains intact. (For more information on the biological processes involved in hair production, see Hair.)
